10 Things About The Anker PowerLine Micro USB 3ft Cable

It is thick and it feels strong in the hands and from use. The website states that it is made from Aramid fiber and that, we bent this cable over 10,000 times and saw no damage or change in performance.

I read elsewhere that they utilise PVC strain-relief collars, this is where the wire ends and meets the connectors. The connectors are made as compact as possible to be compatible with many phone cases.

The amazon website states that, "the thick gauge wiring and reduced cable resistance, enable PowerLine to provide the fastest possible charge."

I emailed about warranty, since I bought it from a local tech shop in Trinidad, and this was their response, "for purchases from AnkerDirect or from our major authorized resellers, we would like to provide a warranty to customers directly. For other purchases, customers are advised to contact the retailers directly for specific guidance on their warranty process."

I think 3 feet is a good length for most use cases. 3 feet measures from my foot to my waist (to give you an idea) and I am an average height adult.

The connectors and pins within the connectors are supposed to be stronger than the cables that come with your phones. Just from observation and comparing side by side, I couldn't determine this.

Anker is a brand of Chinese electronics company Anker Innovations. Based in Shenzhen, Guangdong. The brand is known for producing computer and mobile peripherals. The name Anker comes from the German word for anchor. When I emailed about name choice they responded with, "the name Anker comes from the German word for anchor. We want to ship our products around the world.

Another note about the company, the founder of Anker is Steven Yang who was a former Google employee. When he left Google he started Anker, originally making small battery banks and eventually branching into cables among other things.

Most of the reviews (customers and reviewers) I have seen online stress on quality in feel and use and durability. I've had mines for a few months now and I would say the same thing.

It came in eco friendly packaging and the booklet inside was minimalist. On the front cover it asks, Happy? Not Happy? They encourage you to share your happiness with your friends and the world. If you are not happy then contact them.
